Right, you only need to set the datasource once so viewDidLoad() is perfect for that.

Thanks for the response. I found that it’s important in iOS 13 to set the table view’s data source in the view controller’s viewDidLoad() method and not in lifecycle methods that are called later like viewWillAppear(…).

Right, you only need to set the datasource once so viewDidLoad() is perfect for that. Then, calls reloadData() on your tableView whenever your data changes.
